In this large hill range, the Eastern horses run free. The grass is sweet and the wind is fresh, and almost a pardise. Although, the horses must beware the occasional mountain lion or bear.

EalaLi stood next to a leafy tree, grazing a bit as she listened. She saw no herd around, which was a bummer, but the quiet was fine as well. Well, it wasn't, but she could live with it. Her stomach was still a little queasy, even after a week, from being on that dratted boat. Honestly, it was quite a long way across the ocean. Her ears flicked towards a distant sound, but upon investigation it turned out to be simply a rabbit that ran as soon as it knew it'd been seen. She snorted, wondering what it was so afraid of, then cantered back to the place she'd been. With another listen for the sound of hooves, she leaned against the tree and waited for something interesting to happen.
